Tools of the trade

As I get further a long with this challenge, I find tools that are extremely useful. I've listed them all here for easy referencing.

Market Samurai

A keyword analysis tool is essential for finding a niche. I use Market Samurai to research topics and find niche's with low competition and high traffic. It costs $97 and gives you 2 accounts and 5 installs. There's a 12 day free trial too.

HostGator

Everyone needs hosting and I've chosen HostGator. For what I wanted, they have offered the best value for money and are a well respected web hosting company. The package I've got allows for as many domains as I like with unlimited space and bandwidth. Use the coupon "passivecomp" to get 25% off too.
If you only plan to have one domain, you might be able to find slightly cheaper hosting through places like Afrihost and Webafrica.

Wordpress

Probably not a tool most people need an explanation on. Wordpress will help me get my website developed quickly and it has great plugins for just about everything I need, but don't want to code.

Wordpress Plugins/Toolkits

SEO All in One Pack
Google Analyticator
WooCommerce
Google XML Sitemaps

Clickbank

Clickbank is great for finding affiliates. Basically, people post up products, and others (with websites) become an affiliate and promote their product to receive a commission with each purchase. This is great for finding other ways of generating income from your website.
